After debuting in WRC last year, Rally Estonia is back again. Very fast roads very similar to Rally Finland. Only difference in the past we could see was the lack of jumps. But organisers over the years build jumps by themselves which are today already a natural part of forest stages. On some stages we will also see big road cleaning especially after very dry last weeks. Who will be be favoriete of Rally Estonia and why? And from who we do not expect a lot? Well lets see in our analysis.
Ott Tanak
Ott won in the last three years on home soil. Last year he won just 3 stages what shows that for most of the rally he just controlled the lead. Local hero has everything what he needs for victory. He feels comfortable in his i20, he has good road position and we can not forget that it will be a very fast rally and that is where in Tanak the strongest.
Craing Breen
The only driver able to keep close behind Tanak was last year second Craig Breen. What helped him was a good starting position and experiences from the past. As one of the few he started in Estonia with WRC car in 2018 and 2019 and in total this will be his 6th start. His good form on fast roads also showed on the Arctic Rally where he finally finished 4th. And also we can not forget his ERC starts on Rajd Polski and Rally Liepaja in the last weeks. Those roads are not just geographically close but also have very similar characteristics.
