Spain GP – Preview and Track Analyses

Spain GP. Usually quite boring. And why? Every team has tons of data from this track. Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya offers all kinds of corners. Very fast, middle fast and also slow. That is what makes this track an ideal place to test. And everybody knows already very well how to set up their car for GP. In combination with lack of overtake opportunities we have quite often predictable and maybe little boring GP.

Mercedes vs Red Bull

Well this battle is getting more and more complicated to have a favorite. We believed so far this season Red Bull and believe we were right. Red Bull and Max were in the best form and only track limits and small mistakes slowed him down. But Mercedes is obviously getting back to the top. Red Bull should be stronger in qualifying. Also according bookmakers. But race will be tough to predict.

Aston Martin

They had a very difficult start of this season. And it was probably pre-season tests which hurts them a lot. But after Portimao it looks like things again get better. Racing Point and also W11 EQ of Mercedes was last year in Barcelona very strong. And we believe they will be strong again this year. Will we see some Aston Martin in top10? Yes, why not.

At the end enjoy track analyses from F1 Champion Nico Rosberg:
